چکیده

Generalized quantum measurements with N distinct outcomes are used for determining the density matrix, of order d, of an ensemble of quantum systems. The resulting probabilities are represented by a point in an N-dimensional space. It is shown that this point lies in a convex domain having at most d − 1 dimensions. ∗Electronic address: [email protected] †Electronic address: [email protected]

Generalized probabilities in statistical theories

In this review article we present different formal frameworks for the description of generalized probabilities in statistical theories. We discuss the particular cases of probabilities appearing in classical and quantum mechanics, possible generalizations of the approaches of A. N. Kolmogorov and R. T. Cox to non-commutative models, and the approach to generalized probabilities based on convex ...

On generalized Hermite-Hadamard inequality for generalized convex function

In this paper, a new inequality for generalized convex functions which is related to the left side of generalized Hermite-Hadamard type inequality is obtained. Some applications for some generalized special means are also given.

The impact of P/E ratio and price return on the stock market Bohmian quantum potential approach

Price return and P/E are two important factors for a lot of investors based on the latest studies by researchers in Tehran Stock market; however, it is expected that the price and the variation of that affect the return and the P/E of any given market as a complicated system. The Bohmian quantum mechanics used referring to the time correlation of return and P/E of the stock market under conside...

Wigner distributions and the joint measurement of incompatible observables

A theory of joint nonideal measurement of incompatible observables is used in order to assess the relative merits of quantum tomography and certain measurements of generalized observables, with respect to completeness of the obtained information. A method is studied for calculating a Wigner distribution from the joint probability distribution obtained in a joint measurement. 1 Quantum tomograph...

Probabilistic Quantum Teleportation

We consider a generalized quantum teleportation protocol for an unknown qubit using non-maximally entangled state as a shared resource. Without recourse to local filtering or entanglement concentration, using standard Bell-state measurement and classical communication one cannot teleport the state with unit fidelity and unit probability. We show that using non-maximally entangled measurements o...
